March 2018 Monthly Bulletin Board News

We want to thank you for reading this new bulletin board and being involved and informed!
I hope you will share this with fellow homeowners and encourage them to log on and be informed. We have some work to do on the website but we are trying! Looking forward to seeing everyone at the March 17th meeting! In the next month or so We will be sending an email to all homeowners with emails on file about the new bulletin board. Please let us know what you think and how we can improve.

   1. Building 13 came to a halt when they discovered tremendous rotten wood in the upper structure and roof rafters. Work will continue shortly. Painting is complete on building 9, Building 10 will be painted when they complete the work on building 13. This renovation has been more involved and more roadblocks than anyone could imagine But we are making progress!
   2. Sidewalks on building 27 are complete and are much safer than before. we are continuing the sidewalk project as required.

  3. Illegal dumping in our community is a major issue. Please report suspicious activity to any one of us. The new camera system will help deter this problem. The cameras should be up and running in the coming month.

  4. Lanes Pest Control is coming on March 14th. Please make arrangements to allow access to your unit. In February, there were 54 violations! That's unacceptable! Please avoid warnings and fines by providing access. (they come only 10 times a year!)

  5. Spring is coming. Pools will reopen sometime this month.

  6. Chris, the new maintenance man, has gotten his feet wet and is doing a great job!

Thank you,

February 2018 Monthly Bulletin Board News

Dear Homeowners,

We want to welcome Chris to the Little River Inn family. He will be the new maintenance person and has an abundant list of responsibilities. Let's all remember to welcome him, and remember the proper channel to request any maintenance work is to contact Blue Coast.

In the last three months, we had four illegally parked cars removed from our community. Building nine is being painted this past week. Work on building thirteen is coming along nicely and on schedule! Work on our security cameras also started last week.
The pools will reopen sometime in March pending the weather breaking.

The rules and regulations are in place to ensure our community's cleanliness, safety, and prosperity. Let's all follow them and report any violators to the board.

Lanes will be coming on 2/14/2018. Please make arrangements to allow them access to provide their service and keep our units bug and termite free. There is a calendar on the website for you to print if you like, so you'll know the date every month.

Thank you!

Monthly Bulletin Board News

Jan.21, 2018

Friendly Update:

The board has decided to make sure there's an update on our website every month. So let's start with this one.

Lanes: if you are not allowing Lanes in your unit then you need to produce evidence of where you have paid another exterminator. A receipt with their company head title clearly on it is required. If you cannot produce this you will have to pay the HOA to get someone out here. We are taking this issue very seriously.

Building 13 has been started. The repairs will be more than expected.

We have a Maintenance Man starting next Monday. Homeowners, please let him do his job. Standing around talking to him and asking him to do small jobs for you is prohibited.

Let's try to keep from throwing trash out in the parking lot. This is becoming an issue.

All homeowners should follow all rules. The speed limit signs are there for a reason. Please slow down.

Next Month is Valentine's Day. Hoping everyone enjoys their day. Eat plenty of candy. Remember your mothers...

Hurricane Irma

The HOA and Blue Coast will have people ready to respond to any emergencies (within reason) that might happen during the storm. We are also scheduling for any clean up needed after the storm.

Blue Coast will start packing up all pool furniture. With the possibility of high winds, it is important that you remove all plants, furniture, and anything that could be blown away from your patio, balcony and front entrance.

If you have a problem you can contact Blue Coast PM. Please do not call unless it's a real emergency. Each call will be handled by worse problem first.

Please stay safe and prepare for the worse case scenario.

Why We Cut the Trees

Tropical Storm Ana

At the April 2015 meeting the Board was asked by a few owners why we wanted to remove some trees around the complex.

The Board has concluded that some of our trees (mostly pines) have grown so large that they are or possibly will cause damage to the structure of the buildings, sidewalks and parking areas.

We hope with the large tree that fell on building 10  that you will understand  what we are trying to prevent.

Lucky for all concerned there wasn't any injuries this time. And by being proactive we hope this will continue.

Recycling Bins

Just a note to let the homeowners know there are recycling bins at both of the post box stations in Little River Inn.  We've had a lot of requests, so they are there for your efforts! Please do not put regular trash in them, or in the small can we use for junk mail. If you have droppings from your dog, please put them directly into the big dumpster or take them home. The summer heat will cause odor.  Thank you!

Much Ado About... Poo

Please make note that pet waste is not to be placed in the small trash cans found around the complex.  You will need to bag it to put in the dumpster directly or in your own trash in your condo.

The cans at our mailboxes are for discarded mail ONLY, and the recycling bins for recycled materials only, please.

If you're a pet owner, please read our pet rules, and pick up after your pets while on-site or in the surrounding neighborhoods.
